Bring back the old formula. The new formula sucks. You guys have been playing around with the formula for the past 6 months and the formula just keeps getting worse and worse. it was better when it was the darker grey now its like a weird green.

This stuff rules

I haven't left a product review in...years? I rate things on maps but never come back to something I've purchased. But this stuff is so, so good. I've used lots of hair products for the past ten years and nothing comes close to this. A little before blowdrying to restyle and some to finish sets me up every day. I have super fine hair and lots of it. This gives me texture, density and more hold than other true "clays" I've used. It also smells awesome. Time will tell if cramming so many extracts really does anything for the health of my hair - but at least I know it's not hurting it like other stuff I've tried.

Quite inconsistent, bought this in May and loved it so I bought more as I was running low, but this one is very different in texture and effect. Much “wetter” and shinier in the jar, with those factors coming through more on the hair than the previous batch.

Best hair product I've ever used

This putty is the best styling product I have ever used.

I previously used Jack Henry's clay. I have also tried the paste. Beyond this brand, I have tried many different styling products.

I have thin, straight hair strands, but a good amount of it.

This putty provides a little bit of volume and great flexible hold that lasts all day and is easy to run my hand through and re-style. I have medium length hair on the top, swept back, and kept short on the sides.

This product is phenomenal for my use and hair. Highly recommend.

This putty is more of a texture clay. Super nice. Very well balanced dryness while still giving enough moisture. Gives great volume, super nice texture, thickness to hair, with a nice natural matte finish.
Smells super nice, washes out super easily.
Hair feels good while in the hair and after.
Super easy to use, easy to style with, gives instant results.

The hold is a true medium, maybe even medium firm. Has good longevity.
Works super well on its own but also cocktailed with the paste, if you want a bit more "sheen" and extra hold.

Solid hold but a bit too gritty of a matte texture for me

I have fine hair and I think the clay consistency really affects how I’m able to style and shape with the product. Has a good smell and applies easily. It takes a few washes to get it out of my hair though. Overall, I can see it work for others who want a more casual, “unpolished” look. I think I’m more of a light shine pomade or cream type.

Best Product Ever - Not Enough

I’ve tried so many different clays, putties, pomades, creams, anything. I never leave reviews but I have to say, this is the best product I’ve ever put in my hair. Having short straight/fine hair, I’ve always wanted to add both volume and wavy texture. It’s so easy for my hair to look perfect with this putty. Plus, it feels great all day. Personally, I love the smell too. This is the perfect product for me.
That said, I am still torn when considering buying it again because of container size. The next best thing I’ve tried is a little more expensive but lasts me nearly twice as long.
